QotD: It's Too Late to Apologize

Has anyone ever done something so horrible to you that "I'm sorry" couldn't fix it?

Absolutely. The majority of the time, a heartfelt, sincere apology is all I need to get over it. But they truly have to be sorry...not just saying "I'm sorry" to get me to stop being mad. I hate being mad at people, so it doesn't usually take too much to make me happy.

For the most part, I can forgive...but it's not always as easy to forget. If something really upset me, it will always be in the back of my mind. Some hurts are just impossible to forget.

I hate being mad too, so an apology usually works for the most part for me too. But I know what you mean about it being in the back of your head most of the time though. Some of the things that happen just make you wonder, "How could you have done that and actaully be ok with doing that to someone?" Then it makes you question thier judgement...then question your own judgement for accepting an apology for horrible things and what a chain reaction of kicking your self in the as$...
Ok...just kind of went off there... I was kidding too ;) Haha!!

I SO hate being mad. And I'm not usually a big grudge holder. But there are times that holding a grudge is absolutely okay and even necessary. Besides, if we never held grudges, then we'd be hanging out with people that treated us like crap! That would be fun! ha ha!
